In the summer of 2020, we have completed the construction of a new single house with a garden house. 6 adults and 3 children from several generations live together during weekends, vacation or even longer periods of time.

The timber frame structure supports a ventilated façade made of carbonized larch wood. The surface carbonization naturally increases the resistance of the wood cladding to mold, weathering, rot and moisture. We were thus able to dispense with subsequent treatment with paint or chemical wood preservatives. The facade is flush with the base. In addition, all extensions, window frames, metal sheets and external venetian blinds are also in black.

In its overall appearance, the house looks like a black diamond in the landscape. Natural and precise at the same time, restrained and elegant, inside a world of its own, a shelter for the family.
